Learn it Friday. Use it Monday.
Join the Livestock Publications Council at Oklahoma State University for two days of hands-on training, sharp conversation and good company. Whether you write, design, shoot or edit, there’s something here for you.
Friday: Skills labs and a social
Pick a hands-on lab in Canva, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. Then head to the Friday social at 5 p.m. in the Atrium to meet the people you’ll spend Saturday with.
Saturday: Panels, breakouts and big ideas
- Newsmaker panel: OSU experts break down markets, animal health and policy.
- Breakout sessions: Find feature stories with Jennifer Shike of Farm Journal’s PORK. Handle crisis communications with Dr. Erica Irlbeck of Texas Tech. Use AI to work faster. Talk ethics in livestock photography. Hear what industry pros want students to know.
- Lunch and door prizes to close out the day.
The people are the point
Great sessions get you started. The conversations in the hallway, over lunch and at the social are what stick. Swap ideas, trade tips and meet peers who understand your work.
